A’lante was awarded Best Dance Ensemble last night at the Austin Critics’ Table Awards for our work in Prophecies. Thanks to all A’lante members and lets get ready for “Desplazados” this fall!
Prophecies has been nominated for two Austin Critics’ Table awards, best ensemble and best dance concert. Other nominees in the categories include Ballet Austin, Forklift Danceworks, Kathy Dunn Hamrick Dance Company.
Alante was noninated for best short dance work. Ballet Austin took that award but Olivia tied for Austin’s Best Dancer. Congratulations to the entire company.Get ready for The Prophet in 2014.
